Kids Gaelic games

Kids Gaelic games are a fun way to learn the basics of Gaelic games, including Gaelic football, camogie, and hurling. We would love to share our experience of the games with you and your whanau.

Kids Gaelic games - Summer Sessions

The sessions cater for 4 to 12-year-olds and all boys and girls are welcome to attend. The emphasis of the sessions is on having fun and getting to know the basics of the games. The sessions take place in Wellington City during the summer months.  We are looking forward to the 2025/26 summer season.
Sessions will be run at Prince of Wales Park on Wednesdays prior to our Social Gaelic Games and should there be interest, on Sundays during November & December.
Please complete the following form to express interest in attending a session that suits you and your family best.

Kids Gaelic games - Schools

If you' re interested in showcasing Gaelic games in your child's primary school and would like our club to assist, contact us at kids@wellingtongaa.com. We'd be more than keen to organise this. Over the last number of years we have demonstrated Gaelic games in Eastern Hutt Primary school and it was very well received by the kids and teaching staff.
