Australasian State Games 2018

The Australasian State Games are being held in Melbourne from 3-6 October 2018.

This is an exciting opportunity to play against some of the finest GAA players this side of the world and with the best teams Australasia has to offer.

At this stage we are asking players to register their interest with their coaches if they are confident they will be able to commit to playing in this competition in October.

All players will be expected to finance their own flights to the competition as well as pay for the accommodation/food for the time you are there. As the games will be starting on Wednesday 6 October, you will also need to request leave from your employer to attend (if applicable).

We urgently have to let the Australasian GFHA committee know if we will be submitting teams. Therefore, please give it some thought and let your coach know ASAP.

This is a big commitment, but I assure you, it will be worth it if you do attend!

If enough interest is shown, then we will be sending a team; however, if we do not have enough committed players then unfortunately we will not be sending a team.
