Kāpiti beach tournament 2020

Get ready to whip out the togs, smear on the sunscreen and fill up the chilly bin because on Saturday 5 December we’re travelling to the Kāpiti coast for the annual Gaelic football beach tournament.

You’ll know what great craic it was playing on the beach if you were there last year. If you weren’t around for last year’s tournament, watch our highlight reel above to get an idea of the fun in store.

The tournament will take place on Raumati Beach by Marine Gardens (last year’s location). Following the tournament, we’ll make the short walk over to Weka Park for more fun, games, food and drinks at Kāpiti Irish Society’s summer gathering. We’ll have more information in the coming weeks.
