Kāpiti Gaelic football beach tournament

Together with Kāpiti Irish Society, we will be hosting the annual Gaelic football beach tournament on Raumati Beach by Marine Gardens on Saturday 7 December from 10am.

It will be a five-a-side mixed Gaelic football tournament. There will be a $10 entry on the day. Please register your interest on the Facebook event (link below) if you want to play and you will be assigned a team. Teams will be made up of a total of seven players with rotating subs. Games are 10 minutes in length and each team will be guaranteed at least four games. The top four teams will go through to the knockout stages. There will be a raffle on the day and the BBQ will be fired up.

Following the beach tournament, Kāpiti Irish Society will be having a get-together from 7pm at Weka Park club rooms for anyone staying up on the coast for the night.

Back in Wellington we will host our Christmas party in D4 on Allen to celebrate our hard work and achievements over 2019. Mark the date in your diaries and we’ll see you all there.
